Kyle McDaniel has called Fairfax County home for two decades. He is an owner of a furniture rental company, and an active member of the Tysons Partnership and the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce where he serves on the Policy Council. He lives in West Springfield with his wife, Katie, who is president of the Clifton Horse Society. Kyle and Katie are active members of Messiah United Methodist Church where they traveled to Haiti on humanitarian relief trips. 

Shortly after graduating from George Mason University, Kyle became an aide to Supervisor Pat Herrity where he served the Springfield District for five years as the Policy Director. Kyle oversaw all matters regarding the public schools, Fairfax County’s $7 billion budget, taxes, and social services. In this role, he worked hand-in-hand with constituents, community organizations, civic associations, businesses, and neighborhoods to make Springfield District a better place. Kyle placed a special emphasis on constituent services and didn't back down when constituents were counting on him.

Kyle has a long record of community service and leadership. He has served the Springfield District in a host of roles to include: Advisory Social Services Board, Small Business Commission, the Board of Equalization of Real Estate Assessments, past President of the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce, the Superintendent's Business and Community Advisory Council, Springfield District Council, and many more. Kyle is a member of the West Springfield Rotary Club and Clifton Lions Club.

He is the recipient of a Presidential Service Award, a citation from the Fairfax County Park Authority for leadership, is an Eagle Scout, and a private pilot and member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. Kyle holds a B.S. in Public Administration from George Mason University, and a Master of Public Administration from American University.
